1.Simple Present Tense

       simpel present tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja untuk menyatakan                                  fakta,kebiasan,atau kejadian yang terjadi pada saat ini.

    

             Rumus :

                          (+) S+V1 (S/es)

                          (-) S+do/does+not+V1

                         (?) Do/does++S+V1

          contoh:

                     (+)  Dodi needs much time to do it.

                     (-) Dodi  doesn’t need much time to do it.

                     (?)Does Dodi need much time to do it?

2.simple past tense

·                    Digunakan untuk menyatakan kalimat yang terjadi di masa lampau

          

              Rumus :

                         (-) S+did+not+V1

                         (?)Did+S+V1

        contoh

             (+) I played tennis.

(-)  I did not play tennis

(?) Did you play tennis?

3.present/past continuous tense

·                      Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang berlangsung,

       Untuk yang present kejadian yang terjadi sekarang sedangkan yang past kejadian yang              lampau.

         

           Rumus :

                       (+) S+be+Ving

                       (-) S+be+not+Ving

                       (?) Be+S+Ving

        contoh:

                     (+)  She was bringing many books.

                      (-)  She was bringing many books.

                     (?)  Was she bringing many books?

4.simple future tense

·                         Digunakan ubtuk mengekpresikan kejadian yang belum terjadi,masih di rencanakan,atau         kejdian di masa yang akan datang.

       

         Rumus :

                     (+) S+will+V1

                     (-)S+will not+V1

                     (?) Will+S+V1

      contoh:
                   (+)  Doki will go to the market next week.
                   (-) . Doki will not go to market next week.
                   (?)  Will Doki go to market next week?

5.present ferfect tense

·         Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yamg yang sudah terjadi dan hasilnya masih terasa/terlihat.

          

Rumus :

           (+) S+Has/have+V3

           (-) S+Har/have+not+V3

           (?)Has+S+V3

         contoh:
                     (+) I have gone to Gotham city once before.
                      (-) I have not gone to Gotham city before.
                     (?) Have you gone to Gotham city?
