       Topik:      What websites do you use to find information? Which are best? Why? 

 

 Wawan        : May I ask? what the websites that you frequently use to search for information?

  Ari               : if I often use Google to search for information, what about you guys?

 Ainur            : I also often use google to search for information

Wawan         : why you often use google to search for information, but there are many other websites        
                       that we can use to search for information such as Yahoo, Bing, WebSearch and many others.

Ari                : if you ask me, the information we get from Google is more accurate and reliable than other      websites   and are also easy to use

Jefry            : yes I think so, it was easier to use google. especially to find a reference to the tasks of our college

Wawan   : ohh, okay. I will also use google to search for the information I need.

                         

            Topik:   Does your school or teacher have any rules abaut using such sites? 

 

Ari       : did you know that our professors have rules in the use of the website?

Jefry : in my opinion does not exist, but I do not know for sure about it

Ari    : Yes, I just heard about it. it looks like there are no rules in accessing the website

Wawan           : there is no rule, but our professors forbid to open a website that is negative such as               pornography, racism and other sites are not good because it could ruin our mindset and if found to be punishable by the authorities

Jefry : ohh. I just know it

Ari : means we must be careful and meticulous in accessing the website, do not get us wrong access a website that is not good

Ari :yes true we must be careful.

 What are the differences betwen online information and information from   libraries or encylopedias?


Ari : you know? what is the difference between online information with the information we can from a library book or encyclopedia.



Wawan : I think online information is more easily than finding information in the book

 Ari :why?
Wawan : because the search for online information on more practical and fast, we can find the information we need easily rather than looking at a book or encyclopedia

Ari : yes I think so too, but look for information online makes us lazy to read because it is already familiar with the practical. so that the present generation is rarely go read a book in the library

Wawan : it's like that, every technological developments certainly have positive and negative impacts

 Jefry : although the technology has been easier for us to find the information we need, but we must often to the library to read a book because the book there are windows to the world

Ari : yes, that's right

Ainur : yes, I also agree
